📦 Shipping & Processing Policy

  • Orders are processed within 1–7 business days before shipping.

  • During major sales (e.g., Black Friday), processing may extend to 5–10 business days.

  • Shipping takes approximately 1–4 business days once shipped.

  • All packages are shipped via UPS or USPS with signature confirmation required.

  • No processing on weekends or holidays.

  • International orders take 3–14 business days (shipping method dependent).

  • Customs fees/tariffs are not covered by Kay Kay.

  • Once the package leaves Kay Kay’s facility, responsibility transfers to the carrier.

  • Kay Kay is not responsible for:

    • Lost, stolen, or damaged packages after shipping

    • Delivery delays caused by weather, holidays, natural disasters, or carriers

  • Customers must contact USPS or UPS directly for lost package claims.

  • If your package is returned due to an incorrect address, you must:

    • Pay a reshipping fee

    • Or receive store credit or a refund (minus original shipping)

🔁 Return & Refund Policy

  • Refunds only (No exchanges).

  • A 10% restocking fee is applied to all refunds.

  • You have 48 hours after delivery to decide on a return.

  • Items must be mailed back within 48 hours of receipt.

  • No refunds on:

    • Curly textures

    • Pre-orders

  • To qualify for a refund:

    • Hair must be unused

    • In the original condition and packaging

    • Not picked through, especially for curly textures

  • Once returned and inspected, you’ll be notified of approval/rejection.

  • Approved returns will be refunded.

💇🏽♀️ Hair Care & Maintenance Policy

Before Install:

  • Shampoo and condition hair before installation to reveal natural pattern and prevent tangling from packaging.

Ongoing Care:

  • Wash and condition weekly or bi-weekly, especially when using products.

  • Use moisturizing, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.

  • Avoid product buildup — LESS IS BEST.

  • Hair can be bleached to 613.

Night Routine:

  • Wrap or twist hair at night using a satin or silk scarf/bonnet.

  • Detangle gently from ends to roots.

Curly & Textured Hair Notes:

  • Behaves like natural hair — requires moisture and defined care.

  • Can swell or frizz in humidity if dry.

  • Curl patterns may vary bundle to bundle.

  • Use curling creams, mousse, or light oils for definition and moisture.

Important:

  • Always use a licensed stylist for chemical services.

  • Coloring, bleaching, or dyeing may alter hair integrity and void quality expectations.

  • Hair may react differently to various products (dryness, shedding, matting, tangling).
